BOWLS HISTORY & ACHIEVEMENTS
The Bowling Club has an enviable Pennant championship reputation having won
- A grade Pennant champions 23 out of 32 years
- All other grades having won 45 over last 32 years
In addition to this the club members have won and or represented
- 2004 Victorian State Pennant Champions – Only 5 country clubs have ever won this
- 5 players from the club have played state open bowls for Victoria
- Wodonga is proud to have the World Champion of Champions in 2019 – Kylie Whitehead, who represented Australia in England in 2022 and is currently member of National Australian Jackaroos squad of 10
CORPORATE or BUSINESS HOUSE BOWLS
Wodonga Bowling Club conduct a series of 9 Thursday evenings in November and February for teams of 3 people to compete against other like-minded bowlers.
A whole lot of fun, with great prizes for the lucky winners and occasional losers, entry fee includes a meal, and goes for 3 hours each night. Use the club’s bowls and gear, or bring yours along.
