HISTORY, VISION, MISSION

Wodonga Bowling Club was established in 1925 with a single Green and a Pavilion as a Club House, and was officially opened in October 1926. A second Green was added in 1954 and the last major development occurred approximately 52 years ago (1970) with the addition of the third and final Green.

The 1926 Pavilion was augmented with a surplus army hut in 1962, and then redeveloped into a modern Club House with bar facilities in 1968. Extensions were added during the 1970’s, and became operational in 1978.

The Bowling Club purchased the entire property from Wodonga City Council in 1982.

Wodonga Bowling Club is conveniently located in central Wodonga on Hovell and Osburn (Murray Valley Highway) Streets. The Club is a short walk from the Central Business District and is positioned on the northern fringe of the Business Zone.
